GONZALO HIGUAIN has fallen out of favour again at Inter Miami after he was left out of the squad for this weekend’s trip to Seattle.
The former Real Madrid and Napoli man, who could call time on his career at the end of the season when his contract expires, says he’s struggling with a knee problem which kept him away from the side which won 3-2 against New England last Saturday.

His mood appeared to darken at the weekend after on-loan Wolves striker Leonardo Campana, the man brought into the side in his place, bagged a hat-trick.
TV cameras instantly panned to the 34 year-old after Campana’s second goal but instead of celebrating the Ecuadorian’s vital strike, the split-second shot of Higuain showed him sat glum faced in the stands.
Boss Neville is a big fan of 21 year-old Campana and said: “He played a lot freer without Gonzalo in the team because he was the man, sometimes centre forwards need to be that person everyone looks to and relies on for goals.

The Higuain situation is a problem for Neville who needs all the help he can get after a difficult start to the season.
MLS rules means it’s impossible to offload him midseason yet because of a lack of quality in the squad, he will be needed to contribute as David Beckham’s team aim for a play-off slot.
Higuain’s inability to play with fellow top-earner Rodolfo Pizarro was a headache for Neville last term and even though the Mexican international has now been offloaded, problems remain.
