SERGIO AGUERO has slammed French media over their treatment of friend Lionel Messi at PSG.
L’Equipe gave Messi a 3/10 rating for his performance against Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
The Argentinian maestro missed a crucial penalty when the game was deadlocked at 0-0.
He was denied a 126th Champions League goal as Courtois dived the right way, saving the shot.
The Parisians eventually won the game through a jinking Kylian Mbappe goal.
But French newspaper L’Equipe bemoaned Messi and his ‘sad’ performance and gave him just THREE in their ratings.
Aguero, 33, took to his Twitch channel to rant about the post-game coverage.
He said: “Leo played well.

“He broke it, and not because he’s my friend.
“He was very good, he was very active, too bad about the penalty, but then he broke it.
“The magazines and newspapers in France killed him, they are a******s.
“Now I’m going to Paris, I had an interview with a magazine from France but I phoned and told them: ‘No… Leo Messi.'”
Aguero was forced into an early retirement due to health in his first campaign at Barcelona.
Messi has long been an international team-mate of the striker and they were briefly brought together in Catalonia before the 34-year-old’s move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Messi is also Godfather to Aguero’s son, Benjamin.
