WEST HAM manager David Moyes shut down a reporter for getting what he deemed as too personal.
The Scot, 59, amusingly snapped back after a journalist began his question in a press conference addressing him using his nickname “Moyesy”.
Moyes began to laugh and replied: “F***ing hell, I don’t think we are that close.”
His reaction came after his Hammers side were defeated by his former club Everton 1-0.
It continues a slow start to the season for West Ham as they sit 18th in the table with just four points from seven matches.
Some fans of the Irons were less than impressed with Moyes’ comeback with one commenting on Twitter: “He’s lost the plot.”

While another said: “Love Moyes but this is not a good look. Comes across as being smarmy, sore loser.”
Pressure is beginning to grow on Moyes after spending heavily in the summer but he still found time to laugh even if some fans were unhappy at his response.
It was a slight change to how he was on the touchline as he angrily ran onto the pitch late in the game to kick the ball as he claimed Everton were wasting time to retrieve the ball for a free-kick.
The ex-Manchester United boss was also less up for a joke in his post-match interview slamming his players saying: “I found out little bits, mainly about the players I already knew about.

“They were the players in the main who let me down with their play overall.
“The players who played last year are down on their level as well. We had shown signs we were getting back to it but I don’t think we did here.”
Moyes now has the two week international break to sort out West Ham’s issues before a huge clash with fellow slow starters Wolves on October 1.
