FORMER Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has finally made a mark in Australia – bagging his first goal contribution since joining.
Sturridge joined A-League side Perth Glory in October, but had failed to register a goal or assist before setting up Bruno Fornaroli’s 18th-minute strike.

Perth sit eight points adrift at the bottom of the table, and in the case of 32-year-old Sturridge there isn’t much room for a player who is constantly unavailable due to injury.
Before the game this Saturday, Sturridge had only played 93 minutes of football all season.
