Cristiano Ronaldo ‘whisks Georgina off to Madrid to eat at exclusive restaurant’ after Man Utd are frustrated by Watford

CRISTIANO RONALDO whisked Georgina Rodriguez away for a luxury dinner in MADRID immediately after Manchester United’s draw with Watford, according to reports.

The Portuguese striker, 37, played the full 90 minutes as the Red Devils slumped to a 0-0 stalemate against the relegation-battling Hornets.

But Ronaldo quickly put his misery behind him by jetting back to Madrid with partner Georgina and enjoying a fancy meal, according to AS.

The United star had only been back in Madrid last week for his side’s 1-1 Champions League draw at Atletico.

But Ronaldo is said to have done the ‘impossible’ in bagging a table at the ultra-exclusive Filandon restaurant in the Spanish capital.

Filandon is famous in the city for its coal-grilled meats and fish.

And the food doesn’t come cheap, either.

Starters cost between £10 and £24 – with the Iberico Ham the priciest opening course on the menu.

Sirloin steak tartare or red tuna tartare cost upwards of £22, while their extensive garlic and chilli-cooked fish menu sets punters back up to £30.

The Wagyu beef cutlet costs £110 for a minimum of two people – while at the other end of the meaty spectrum, the ox-meat burger is priced at £15.

Desserts are much more reasonable though, with a creme caramel costing just £5 and the most-expensive sweet dish – a warm apple wafer with vanilla ice cream – £8.

After their luxurious dinner, Ronaldo and Georgina likely headed back to their £5million Madrid home.

In her recent Netflix documentary, Georgina admitted she used to get lost in the massive mansion when she first started dating the former Real Madrid chief.

But the couple won’t have long to relax in Spain, with Ronaldo set to report back to United training ahead of the Manchester derby against City on Sunday.
