BRUNO FERNANDES was forced to hitch a ride with Manchester United team-mate Juan Mata after he was involved in a car crash on his way into training.

The Portuguese ace, 27, was travelling to Carrington on Easter Monday when he was involved in a shock smash.

Dramatic pictures show Fernandes’ £94,000 electric Porsche Panamera shattered on the driver’s side.

A second car – a Volkswagen Tiguan – can be seen with the driver’s door hanging open following the collision.

Meanwhile, Fernandes’ luxurious Porsche had its front-end bent in with the bonnet popped open and debris scattered across the narrow road.

United’s interim boss Ralf Rangnick has since revealed Fernandes is ‘OK’ and will be fit to face Liverpool on Tuesday night.

“Obviously the accident happened on the way to Carrington. As far as I know, no one was injured.
