MANCHESTER UNITED fans are rejoicing today as Erik ten Hag was confirmed as the club’s new manager.
The Ajax boss, 52, was the Red Devils’ No1 choice to be Ralf Rangnick’s successor at the end of the season.

And he has accepted the terms and signed on the dotted line for a three-year deal contract at Old Trafford.
United were desperate to announce the news as soon as possible – even with Ajax still in a title battle with rivals PSV Eindhoven.

Ten Hag verbally agreed to take charge in the summer last week after impressing Old Trafford chiefs during his interview.
But he wanted to hold fire on signing the contract until the Dutch Cup final on Sunday – which his team lost to PSV Eindhoven.
In the past couple of days, United agreed compensation – believed to be in the region of £2.5million – with Ajax to take Ten Hag and his assistant Mitchell van der Gaag.
And he will want to waste no time in stamping his mark on the squad, with SunSport revealing his plans to go after Ajax winger Antony.
Upon his appointment, the Dutch gaffer said: “It is a great honour to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead.
“I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.
