“We were late to every ball, sloppy in possession, we were soft in the duels, there was no control or dominance and we didn’t earn the right to play.
“We conceded two goals in the first-half which were unacceptable and I can only apologise to our supporters for that performance.
“I didn’t see this coming tonight because we discussed before the game that you only win here by competing and winning the duels against a physical team.
