‘Come out and fight like a man’ – Tyson Fury ‘heading to Iceland to look’ for Hafthor Bjornsson’ amid exhibition talks

TYSON FURY has claimed he is heading to Iceland to hunt down Hafthor Bjornsson amid their talks over an exhibition fight.

The Gypsy King uploaded a video on Twitter which appeared to show him at an airport.

And he pointed the camera to show a Keflavik sign – which is Iceland’s largest airport.

Fury said: “You know where we are guys, Iceland. And you know what we’re doing here, we’re looking for Thor. Come out and fight like a man.”

The WBC champion is renowned for fooling both the press and public, so it remains to be seen whether he is in Iceland or not.

But Fury, 33, has sparred verbally online with the former world’s strongest man, 34, which led to talk of an exhibition bout.

And Bjornsson recently demanded a contract be sent his way so that he can gear up for the fight of his life.

He said on his  YouTube channel: “I need good preparation, a good camp and some good people to spar with.

“My coach has been training with me full-time and I will be going to Scotland soon but basically I need the contract.

“So this is a big challenge to Tyson Fury and his team and I will sign it so we can have this official.

“I want to take this seriously and I have a huge amount of respect for Tyson Fury.

“He is one of the best if not the best heavyweight of all time and I have to go all in.

“If this is supposed to happen in November you guys need to make up your mind.

“I need to train my f****** a*** off and I need to start having a proper camp.”

Bjornsson recently beat strongman rival Eddie Hall, 34, in their gigantic grudge match in March but he has not returned since.

Fury meanwhile retired from boxing in April after knocking out Dillian Whyte, 34, at Wembley.

But it appears to have lasted just four months as he announced his return to complete a trilogy with Derek Chisora, 38, who he twice beat.

The fight is rumoured to be targeted for December in Wales, which would dash Bjornsson’s hopes of an exhibition.

But Fury’s promoter Bob Arum spoke out to deny that Fury would fight Chisora for a third time.

And he instead maintained they are awaiting the winner of Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, 35, next Saturday in Saudi Arabia.
