ZINEDINE ZIDANE has been dealt another injury blow as Lucas Vazquez will miss their Champions League clash with Liverpool.
The Real Madrid boss is set to be without six first team players for the game – and Vazquez could miss the rest of the season.
Real Madird have confirmed the 29-year-old has sprained the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The diagnosis is bad news for Zidane, who may have to deploy a makeshift right back against Liverpool.
Dani Carvajal, who usually occupies the position, is also injured – and so is Sergio Ramos, who missed their 2-1 win against Barcelona.
Raphael Varane won’t be able to feature either after testing positive for coronavirus and Eden Hazard is still struggling for fitness.
And Fede Valverde is a doubt after managing only 61 minutes of last night’s game.
Speaking after the win, the French manager said: “I don’t know how we’re going to finish the season. Physically, we’re at our limit.”

The severity of Vazquez’s injury means he could miss the rest of the season and the Euros with Spain.
And as his contract is due to expire in the summer, he may NEVER play for Real again.
The player has been linked with countless European sides – including Manchester United and Chelsea – and is yet to commit his future to his current employers.
Bayern Munich are believed to be leading the race for his signature.
Vazquez, who is a winger that can deputise at right back, joined Real as a 16-year-old in 2007.
The nine-cap Spain international has won three Champions Leagues and LaLiga twice during his time at the Bernabeu.
