PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are interested in signing Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier, according to reports.
The England star has been linked with Premier League clubs Manchester United and Arsenal in recent weeks.
According to France Football via Mundo Deportivo, PSG want to sign Inter Milan right back Achraf Hakimi.
But Chelsea are also believed to be interested in the Morocco international, with Inter allegedly setting a price tag of €80million – around £68.7m.
Rumours suggest the European champions have reached a verbal agreement to sign the 22-year-old, paying £43m plus Marcos Alonso.
The cost and competition for Hakimi may persuade PSG to pursue Trippier instead.
And the Ligue 1 side can afford to pay the asking price for the 30-year-old, rumoured to be €50m – around £43m.
Previous reports claimed Atletico wanted around £30m for Trippier.

It is believed United won’t pay more than £20m for the former Manchester City youngster, who reportedly wants to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.
Arsenal have also been linked with the Trippier in recent weeks, despite the player spending four years at bitter rivals Tottenham under current PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino.
And the Gunners were believed to be keen on making a £43m bid for Hakimi earlier in the year, although it now appears they’ve been priced out of a move.
Right back is an area of concern for PSG as the man that occupied that position last term – Alessandro Florenzi – has returned to parent club Roma.
Early reports suggest the French club may try to sign the Italian defender on a permanent deal, should they fail in their pursuit of Hakami and Trippier.
