Jack Grealish becomes joint-sixth top Premier League earner on £300k-a-week as ten highest-paid players revealed


JACK GREALISH will reportedly pocket a whopping £300,000-a-week at the Etihad after signing for Manchester City.

The 25-year-old completed his British record £100million move to the Citizens on Thursday from Aston Villa, with the player penning a six-year deal.

He is now the Premier League’s most expensive player, with his switch from the Midlands eclipsing the the £89m Manchester United spent on Paul Pogba in 2016.

The England international also boasts the sixth highest transfer in history, behind only Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Philippe Coutinho, Joao Felix and Antoine Griezmann.

And according to the Athletic, Grealish will be earning £300k-a-week at City.

That will make him the joint-sixth top earner in the English top-flight, with two of his new team-mates also in the list.

City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne sit tops of the pile following his bumper contract extension in April.

He is believed to be on around £385k-a-week, ahead of David De Gea in second spot, who is one of four Manchester United players in the top ten.

The Spanish goalkeeper pockets £375k-a-week at Old Trafford, with Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on £350k-a-week.

Also on that same sum is United forward Jadon Sancho following his £73million deal from Borussia Dortmund.

Next on the list is Chelsea’s Champions League match-winning magician Kai Havertz (£310k).

Grealish and team-mate Raheem Sterling are joint-sixth on £300k-a-week, with World Cup winner Paul Pogba (£290k) closely behind.

Blues forward Timo Werner is next (£270k), with Pogba’s French compatriot Anthony Martial completing the top ten (£250k).
