HARRY KANE delighted Tottenham fans by FINALLY scoring a first home Premier League goal of the season – but was lucky to escape a red card just moments later.
The England skipper broke his Tottenham Hotspur Stadium duck with a typically clinical finish against Liverpool.
Kane, 28, coolly slotted past Alisson after being put through on goal by Tanguy Ndombele.
It’s his first goal since netting in the 3-2 win away at Newcastle on October 17.
And it’s just a second league goal of the season for the three-time Premier League golden boot winner.
By scoring Kane draws level with Manchester United midfielder Fred and Burnley’s Ben Mee for goals scored this campaign.
It ended a run of 788 minutes without scoring at home in the league, and eight home league games without a goal.
In total it was his ninth of the campaign, but only his second in the league.

But it did put Spurs 1-0 up against the title chasing Reds after 13 minutes in North London.
Seven of his eight other goals have been in the Europa Conference League or the Carabao Cup.
But things could have immediately turned sour for Kane though after a lunging challenge on Andy Robertson soon after he found the back of the net.
Perhaps uncharacteristic of the striker, he charged at the left-back and dived in, connecting with Robertson’s shin.
Referee Paul Tierney brandished a yellow card, to the dismay of Jurgen Klopp who believed the tackle warranted a sending off.
Spurs too protested the decision, with home fans feeling Kane had a slight touch on the ball before clattering into Robertson.
VAR chief Chris Kavanagh did have a look at the challenge, but decided no further punishment was needed for Kane.
Diogo Jota then equalised for Liverpool on 35 minutes with an inch-perfect header after a cross from Robertson himself.
Robertson then headed Liverpool 2-1 ahead on what was an eventful afternoon for the left-back.
Son Heung-Min levelled the game again after an error by Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.
Robertson was then involved again, and was sent off after a wild swipe on Spurs left-back Emerson Royal.
And the game eventually finished 2-2 after a breathless 90 minutes in North London.
