ENGLAND’S Wags were treated to a gourmet three-course meal to give them fire in their bellies to cheer on their partners against Croatia.
Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions started their Euro 2020 campaign at Wembley taking on the side who dumped them out of the World Cup in the semis three years ago.
And the national stadium put on a delicious feats for the players’ partners.
Luke Shaw’s missus Anouska Santos uploaded a shot of the menu alongside a photo of her man.
After a selection of adventurous canapes it was in to a choice of two starters.
The Tian of Cromer crab served with Hass avocado, watermelon, pickled fennel and dill creme fraiche would have whet the palate.
The Inca tomato and Laverstoke Park mozzarella with lovage pesto was the delightful vegetarian option.
Meat-eaters would have been rubbing their hands with glee at the slow cooked beef fillet and braised cheek, served with King Edward potato mash, burnt onion puree, baby carrots and chargrilled baby leeks.
The second choice was English asparagus, wild mushroom, spinach and celeriac tart with smoked garlic cream sauce.
Surprisingly there was only one dessert option, a rhubarb and hibiscus trifle with Florentine biscuits.

But there was always the ‘after party’ menu to look forward too, featuring that football favourite of a steak pie.
Manchester United ace Shaw has been with Santos since 2017, and the couple have one child together, one-year-old Reign London.
But all three will have been somewhat disappointed with the start of England’s Euros campaign – Shaw was named on the bench for the Croatia opener.
