REAL MADRID forward Eden Hazard is in a ‘vicious cycle’ of injuries, according to the Belgium national team doctor.
The 30-year-old has played just 35 games for the Spanish giants since joining the team in the summer of 2019 and suffered another setback on Wednesday when it was confirmed he was out for another four weeks.

And a number of recurring muscle injuries have led to Belgian doctor Kristof Sas worrying about not only Euro 2020 but also Hazard’s future in the sport.
Speaking to the Nieuwsblad newspaper, he said: “We are waiting to know more but it is worrying.
“The injuries of other players like Praet, Mertens or De Bruyne at this point do not worry us in the face of the Eurocup, it is until a break. They can start again, but with Eden it is different. It is a chronic relapse that, in the end, always goes wrong.
“At first it was an ankle problem but the last three times it was muscle injuries.
“Eden is in a vicious cycle and it is not easy to get out. Like any elite athlete, it is necessary for his muscle groups that he train (properly).
“A footballer has to hit it, turn, jump and everything, at great speed. This is much more difficult during rehabilitation.”
“If he is in shape he has more options to stay healthy.
“We would have preferred that Eden played everything with Madrid. It is the best way to get to the European Championship well.

“The situation is not complicated for us but he must get out of that dead end.”
Hazard has scored just four times for Los Blancos since leaving Chelsea 18 months ago.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are currently languishing third in La Liga, ten points off table toppers Atletico Madrid.
