CHELSEA are reportedly set to move for Harry Kane or Romelu Lukaku after Borussia Dortmund insisted that Erling Haaland is not for sale.
Sky Sports claim the Blues want to sign a number nine this summer and Norwegian Haaland remains Thomas Tuchel’s top target.
The report adds that Dortmund do not want to sell the 20-year-old, especially after they let Jadon Sancho join Manchester United.
A source close to the deal has been quoted as saying: “Chelsea are trying but it is going to be very difficult.
“At the moment it looks like mission impossible. It is unlikely but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen.”

Euro 2020 stars Kane and Lukaku have been listed as other options but Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is hellbent on signing Haaland.
The Bundesliga side will reportedly accept an offer of £150million for the in-demand striker – who has a £70m release clause in his contract which can be activated next summer.
Chelsea were previously considering a move for former striker Lukaku but the Belgian is keen on staying at Inter Milan.
The Nerazzurri were expected to sell players due to financial fair play concerns but Achraf Hakimi’s sale has reportedly resolved that issue.
Lukaku himself said he was ‘happy at Inter’ when Trevor Sinclair asked if he fancied a move to Manchester City in June.
Spurs superstar Kane meanwhile is unlikely to be allowed to make the move across London to join rivals Chelsea.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is determined to keep the 27-year-old, who has three years left on a £230,000-a-week deal.
Manchester City are also keen on Kane with SunSport revealing that Pep Guardiola’s side have offered £100m as they look to replace Sergio Aguero.
