TYSON FURY is backing Billy Joe Saunders to beat Canelo Alvarez in style on Saturday night – because there will be ‘gypsy magic’ in the air.
Unbeaten British star Saunders faces the Mexican legend at the AT&T Stadium in Texas on Saturday night in a super-middleweight unification bout.
The 31-year-old is looking to add the WBA and WBC straps to his WBO belt when he pits his wits against the four-weight world champion.
And Fury – who has been training with the slick southpaw in Las Vegas – believes his close friend will demolish Canelo.
Speaking to the Mail, the Gypsy King said: “There will be no ducking, diving and dodging by Billy Joe this time.
“He will shock the world by winning and by the way he does it.
“He will come out, hold his ground and impose that southpaw jab on Canelo time and time and time again. Bang, bang, bang.
“Canelo is a very good fighter but he will find himself being hit flush in the face from beginning to an end.”
He added: “Billy Joe has hidden power for which he is not given the credit.
“Canelo is about to find that out. And that he is up against the best British boxer.

“He will also be facing the appetite for fighting of the travelling community. We grow up fighting from birth. We love it.
“Canelo will also be under a curse now put out there. There will be gypsy magic in the air.”
Saunders is confident at inflicting a first defeat on Canelo since Floyd Mayweather outpointed him in 2013.
He remarked: “Canelo is a great champion but most of his opponents just turn up for the pay cheque.
“None have brought the heart and soul and will to win that I will take into this stadium.”
