LOGAN PAUL has planted the seed for a showdown with Conor McGregor by claiming he could beat the UFC superstar in a boxing match.
The social media phenom is just days away from an eight-round exhibition with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.

Paul, 26, has watched plenty of tape on Money ahead of their much-maligned clash, including his 2017 victory over the UFC’s poster boy.
The Maverick was less than impressed by The Notorious’ performance, telling The True Geordie: “I think I could beat Conor in a boxing match right now.
“Conor doesn’t impress me. He gets tired.”
Paul has the utmost respect for The Notorious but wholeheartedly believes he’d get the better of the Irishman if they were to ever share the ring.
Paul said of the UFC’s first simultaneous two-weight world champion: “He’s a great athlete, a great performer.
“But I don’t know, man, one day we’re going to get good enough at this sport where conversations like this are happening and we’re better than these guys.”

🥊 MAYWEATHER VS LOGAN PAUL: Where will the fight take place, what TV channel and live stream will it be on?
Paul is brimming with confidence ahead of his clash with the undefeated Mayweather and is adamant the former five-weight champ won’t knock him out.
He said: “That’s what makes me laugh when Floyd says ‘June 6 I’m gonna knock you out.’
“With all due respect, Mr. Mayweather, what the f*** do you know about knocking people out?
“It’s been a decade. It’s been a decade since you knocked out Victor Ortiz in whatever b* that was.”
Paul reckons the retired Mayweather is underestimating him and has vowed to give the 44-year-old a rude awakening.
He said: “I’m going to knock him out and become the greatest boxer on the planet.
“Then I’m going to retire and not give Floyd the rematch. He doesn’t know who he’s getting in the ring with.
He really thinks I’m a YouTuber. He really thinks I’m a fake fighter. I get it.
“Everything that I’ve portrayed online says the same thing. But we’re really about this life now. Floyd underestimating me is going to hurt him, I think.
“If you think about it, this truly is one of the most special, historic events ever.
“You have one of the greatest boxers of our generation, fighting, uh, me.”
