CHRIS EUBANK JR has a ‘good chance’ of beating middleweight legend Gennady Golovkin.
That’s according to promoter Barry McGuigan, who reckons the son of iconic boxer Chris Eubank Sr can do real damage against some of the division’s best fighters.

Eubank Jr, 31, is the current WBA interim-middleweight champ after beating Matt Korobov in December 2019.
The Brit has not fought since, but he is now on the hunt for a new opponent after linking up with Team Sauerland promotions.
Eubank Jr, who holds a record of 29-2 with 22 KOs, fired a warning at Golovkin earlier this week after penning his deal.
And McGuigan is confident Eubank Jr can back his words with action against top middleweights like legendary gloveman GGG, who made a record 21st defence of his belt last month against Kamli Szeremeta.
McGuigan told The Mirror: “Of the four middleweight champions, Eubank Jr has a good chance against Golovkin, Ryota Murata and Jermall Charlo.
“To beat WBO champion Demetrius Andrade, he has to get better at initiating attacks.
“IBF king GGG is a good fight for him. He’s 38 years old now.
“No matter how good you are, after the number of fights he has had as an amateur and pro, he is not getting better.

“Victory over GGG opens the door to big unification bouts.
“For what it’s worth, I think he beats WBA champ Murat. WBC champ Charlo is an even fight.
“Andrade, a slick operator with a great jab, would be a problem for him, but he has to get there first.”
