Mr Pluckcha-oom devoted much of his life to the development of sport in Thailand, Asia and Oceania, and was a key figure in facilitating the growth of volleyball in Thailand. Through his hard work and leadership, the TVA became one of the most accomplished sports associations in the country.
He was also the Founder of the Grand Sport Group, a sports equipment manufacturing company based in Thailand which has been a long-standing sponsor of both the TVA and the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC).
Mr Pluckcha-oom will be remembered by the entire Volleyball Family as a pioneer of volleyball across the globe, and his dedication to sport will never be forgotten.
The FIVB extends its sincerest condolences to Mr Pluckcha-oom’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
