WEST HAM’S shirt sleeve sponsor went into administration today as coronavirus continues to impact Premier League clubs.
London based finance firm Basset and Gold had their prancing lion logo emblazoned on Hammers shirts since 2018 but it will be nowhere to be seen whenever the season resumes.

The East Londoners will not be out of pocket having been paid in full for the deal which ran until the end of the season.
But the club were saddened to hear of B&G’s plight as many companies struggle to deal with deadly pandemic’s economic effect.
B&G become the third Hammers shirt sponsor in 12 years to go bust after XL Holiday’s 2008 demise forced the first team to play with printed squares where the logo used to be.
Foreign exchange broker Alpari met the same fate in 2015.
B&G regularly ran positive fan engagement campaigns – including competitions and giveaways – during what was considered a positive partnership at London Stadium.
West Ham will search for a new commercial partner to fill the void in time for any season restart.
Paul Boyle, David Clements and Tony Murphy of Harrisons Business Recovery and Insolvency Ltd were appointed to conduct the wind down.
B&G also deleted their Twitter account.
