WAYNE ROONEY was mocked yesterday over his bushy beard — with some fans even claiming it had been dyed.
Roo, 34, was starring in his first game for Derby County since joining as player-coach after returning from American side DC United.

The former England skipper made an immediate impact with an assist in the Rams’ 2-1 win over Barnsley.
Wazza rolled back the years with a glorious set piece delivery on the stroke of half-time, which was gratefully prodded home by Jack Marriott.
But it was the Man Utd legend’s facial hair that proved to be the biggest talking point on the night.
One fan tweeted it looked like it had been “coloured in by his kids over Christmas”.
Some online compared it to a “country lane hedge”.
While another said: “I presume Wayne Rooney’s had a beard transplant? Looks like it was previously Noel Edmunds’?”
Another quipped: “Beards on men look great……
Then Rooney grew one and f***ed it up! Looks like a photofit”.

Surprisingly, the beard did have a fan: “Love seeing Wayne Rooney back on the pitch spraying the ball around and what a fantastic beard on him too he will always be one of my favourite players”.
But another joked: “Never seen anyone who should suit a beard to not suit a beard as much as Wayne Rooney hahahahaha”.
Rooney spent over £30,000 undergoing two hair transplants in 2011 and 2013.
