Both required medical attention while fellow team-mates Mason Mount and Kalvin Phillips came to their aid.
After a couple of nervy minutes, both were given the green light to continue with the session.
The incident won’t impact Gareth Southgate’s starting XI for the clash with Denmark tonight.
Fans on social media didn’t show much sympathy and instead found the funny side.
One wrote: “Who else thought this was just pure comedy? The way they just suddenly fell at the same time.”
Another joked: “The team that’ll bring it home, everyone.”
A third said: “Our team is just a laughing stock at the moment.”
His comment was in relation to Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden being sent home after breaking coronavirus restrictions.

How England could line up against Denmark
The Manchester pair landed themselves in hot water after inviting two Icelandic women back to their hotel rooms.
United captain Harry Maguire was also left at home after he was found guilty of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and repeated attempts of bribery following an incident in Mykonos.
Southgate is keen to move on for the latest incident and hinted at changes on the field to take on the Danes.
Wolves skipper Conor Coady, 27, is poised for his first England game – as part of a three-man central defence alongside Eric Dier and Joe Gomez.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will start as right wing-back, with Southgate facing a choice down the left between Trippier and Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who is also hoping for a first run-out.
He said: “We’ve tried things in training across the week with a long-term view on different possibilities for us as a team.
“Whether that is the right thing for [Tuesday] to be able to win the game, we’ve got to think that through, but it is no secret, because everything in this camp seems to have got out.
“So we have tried a three at the back earlier in the week. But we’ll make a decision on that.”
