But tomorrow, Bale, 30, will also announce he is handing over another €500k (about £440,00) for hospitals in and around the Madrid area.
The Spanish capital has been one of the worst-hit cities in the world during the pandemic.
The Real winger earns £650,000 but a near £1million donation is still one of the biggest from any sportsman in the world.
Sunsport revealed earlier this week that he is likely to remain in Spain for the next two years, until his contract runs out.
Bale raised the hopes of Spurs fans this week when in an interview, he used the phrase “us Tottenham fans” when talking about last year’s Champions League final.
However, there is no chance he will join Spurs this summer.
