Real Madrid plan massive 17-player exodus this summer including Bale, James, Ceballos and Odegaard transfers

REAL MADRID are reportedly prepared to allow up to 17-players to leave the club this summer either on loan or permanent deals.

Spanish outlet Marca claim the likes of Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Luka Jovic are all expected to be on the chopping board.

Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and James Rodriguez’s Real Madrid futures are all in doubt this summer

SunSport previously reported that Madrid need to cover a £182MILLION shortfall following the coronavirus pandemic.

To avoid a financial black hole, Los Blancos are said to be keen on their players taking pay cuts.

Yet the majority of their money will be recouped from shifting the deadwood this summer.

Top priority for Real will be getting Gareth Bale’s £650,000-a-week wages off their books.

The Welshman’s agent has already insisted that the former Tottenham star will not be going anywhere this summer.

But reports in Spain claimed that Madrid will ‘aggressively push’ Bale, 31, and James Rodriguez out of the club.

New Monaco boss Niko Kovac has also offered his former player Luka Jovic an escape from his Bernabeu hell.

The former Bayern Munich manager is said to be keen on a reunion with the striker in France, with a loan the most likely option at this stage.

Meanwhile, Arsenal chief Mikel Arteta has confirmed talks are ongoing with Real – who want a permanent deal – over Dani Ceballos’ future.

Reports have claimed the midfielder will personally ask Madrid president Florentino Perez to extend his loan deal at the Gunners.

Fellow midfielder Martin Odegaard will remain with loan side Real Sociedad for another year in order to ensure regular first-team football.

The 21-year-old is viewed as the long-term replacement for Croatian ace Luka Modric in the Madrid midfield.

Marca claim that Sergio Reguilon, who spent this season on loan at Sevilla, is available for another temporary stint away from the Bernabeu.

Arsenal and Tottenham could be going head-to-head for his signature but the 23-year-old seems keen on staying in Spain.

Alvaro Odriozola has been granted permission to seek either a loan or permanent move away just two years after his £35m switch from Real Sociedad.

Madrid are hopeful of netting around £20m for out-of-favour Lucas Vazquez amid interest from Spurs.

The 28-year-old has struggled for form and fitness this season, and currently finds himself out with a calf injury.

Vazquez has also been linked with Chelsea and Arsenal in the past, and recently revealed that the Premier League would suit his “personality”.

Inter Milan target Luka Modric, 34, has long been rumoured to be nearing an exit and is approaching the final year of his contract.

DC United also rumoured to be keen on the Croatian Ballon d’Or winner.

Madrid misfits Nacho Fernandez, Oscar Rodriguez and Mariano Diaz are three more available to seek £10m moves away.

Likewise Jesus Vallejo but the defender who flopped at Wolves and has since been shunted to Granada will return a slighty smaller fee.

Los Blanocs starlet Takefusa Kubo, nicknamed “the Japanese Messi”, can leave on another loan after a successful stint at Mallorca.

There had also been high hopes for the likes of Borja Mayoral, Alberto Soro and Jorge de Frutos.

The trio are spending the season away from the club but look unlikely to break into the first-team set-up.
