AC MILAN and city rivals Inter are both interested in signing Newcastle United youngster Matty Longstaff, according to Match of the Day’s online magazine.
The 19-year-old midfielder’s current £850-a-week contract is due to end in the summer.

The homegrown starlet, who has scored two goals both home and away against Manchester United, can leave Newcastle for a bargain of £400,000 compensation fee now or at any point over the next six months.
In order for Steve Bruce to avoid such an occurrence, he will have to ensure a new deal is agreed – and fast.
And why would he not?
The incredible winner Longstaff scored against United on his Premier League debut in mid-October last year pushed the youngster straight into the limelight.
It also took Newcastle out of the relegation zone.
The teenager, who is on £850k-a-week, was said to be offered a new deal back in October.
Fast forward to now and the hesitation may well have cost Bruce, with the two Milan giants after the England U20 star.
A FAMILY AFFAIR
Longstaff’s brother Sean was linked with a move worth £50m to United in the summer, but rumours of an Old Trafford move proved a distraction.
Speaking to Newcastle’s official website last year he said: “You can sometimes get distracted by the outside noise and maybe for a little bit in the summer I was a bit.
“It’s hard not to, whenever you go anywhere you see your face on the front of a newspaper and you turn the telly on people are talking about you.
‘”And it’s not like they’re talking about little things, they’re talking about things that can change your left really’.’
