The outbreak of the coronavirus has put football across Europe on standby.
France’s Ligue 1 was suspended indefinitely three weeks ago, sending the top flight aces into lockdown.
And while most of us have been sat on the sofa binge watching the new controversial Netflix show, Tiger King – Depay decided to bring a real big cat into his own home.
He cosied up to a liger – a cross between a tiger and lion – and posted the elaborate pictures on Instagram.
He captioned the wild pics: “What happens when a liger hangs out with a Lion?”
Depay has rejuvenated his career at Lyon after ending a nightmare two-season spell at Manchester United.
He has recently been linked with a return to England at Spurs and Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton.
However, Depay tore his cruciate knee ligament back in December to end any hopes of a winter transfer and cast doubt over appearing at Euro 2020.
His current deal still runs through until summer 2021, but Lyon are keen to tie their captain down to a long-term deal, according to L’Equipe.
Tiger King is a seven-episode true crime series about wildcat enthusiast Joe Exotic which has taken the world by storm.
Joe’s story is filled with twists and turns people just can’t stop talking about the new show.

The series goes far beyond the world of wildcats and Joe’s undying hatred for animal rights activist Carole Baskin takes centre stage.
Both are hellbent on taking the other one down but in addition to Joe and Carole’s story we also meet a bizarre cast of real-life characters and scandals.
This includes another big cat owner who is accused of running a cult, and a drug lord who says he may have inspired Scarface – you do not want to miss this.
