MAURICIO POCHETTINO will finally be removed from Tottenham’s wage bill if he takes charge of Paris Saint-Germain.
The 48-year-old looks set to become the French side’s new manager after Thomas Tuchel was sacked this week.

Pochettino has been out of work since he was dismissed by Spurs in November 2019.
But Football Insider claim he has remained on their payroll due to a clause in his contract, with the North London club continuing to pay his £8.5million-per-year wages.
But should he sign on the dotted line for Paris Saint-Germain, Spurs no longer have to pay him.
The same applies for his coaching staff including Jesus Perez, Miguel D’Agostino and Toni Jimenez.
Pochettino is the firm favourite to take charge of the French side – who are third in Ligue 1.
The 48-year-old has reportedly already held talks over the role with further negotiations expected.
Contracts and the make up of Pochettino’s backroom staff are said to be the only issues left to iron out.
Pochettino recently said: “I have always said that one day it would be a pleasure to manage a big club like Paris, a dream.
“I try to watch all of their games, especially in the Champions League and sometimes I speak with [Paris Saint-Germain assistant coach] Jean-Louis Gasset.”
He made 95 appearances for PSG between 2001 and 2003 during his playing career.
