And Manchester United’s poor start this season has heaped more pressure on boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
According to Daily Mail, Pochettino has already turned down multiple offers and is waiting for the right project.
And United top brass could be forced into a decision if the Argentine finds an attractive proposal elsewhere.
The Red Devils laboured past West Brom 1-0 on Saturday night to sneak into the top half of the Premier League table.
Solskjaer last week received a vote of confidence from Manchester United chief Ed Woodward.
The Norwegian recently celebrated 100 games in charge of the Red Devils.
And United’s executive vice-chairman has moved to kill speculation over Ole’s future in a statement released revealing the club’s first quarter results.

Woodward said: “On the pitch, while there is still hard work ahead to achieve greater consistency, we remain absolutely committed to the positive path we are on under Ole as the team continues to develop.”
Woodward also announced that the coronavirus pandemic has also hit the club in the coffers.
United have announce a loss of £30.3million for the first quarter of the new financial year.
The pandemic cost a £70m to United last season.
Those issues have continued with the absence of crowds this season, bringing a £20.4m drop in gate revenues compared to the first two months of last term, down to just £1.7m.
United also suffered a £20.7m fall in commercial incomes, offset by a rise in broadcasting money from their qualification for the Champions League.
Woodward added: “We miss playing in front of our fans and we are working hard together with our governing bodies and relevant authorities to ensure that fans can safely return as soon as possible.”
