AS has become tradition, Manchester City kitman Brandon Ashton celebrated his team’s League Cup victory over Aston Villa by stripping down to his pants and sliding across the Wembley dressing room.
Ashton shot to prominence during the All or Nothing Amazon Prime Man City documentary, as it was revealed how popular he is with the playing squad.

And the victorious City players chanted gleefully as some of them formed a line for Ashton to perform his traditional belly slide through their legs.
The kitman then did just that, joyously sliding across the hallowed ground as the players chanted happily – just as he did after last year’s FA Cup final.
He then went for a second go, this time taking the trophy with him, and even getting stuck momentarily in the middle.
But nothing was about to wipe the smile from his face.
After all, City had just won the sixth major trophy of Pep Guardiola’s incredibly successful tenure.
And Ashton wasn’t the only person to steal the show in the post-match dressing room celebrations.
The jubilant City players and staff were joined by none other than former Oasis member and celebrity fan Noel Gallagher.

Gallagher was also present for City’s excellent 2-1 win at Real Madrid in mid-week.
The BT Sport cameras captured Gallagher going ballistic in the stands as his beloved City came back from a goal down at the Bernabeu.
And this time around, amid the joy, there was a trophy to boot.
Gallagher and Ashton would have been feeling calm when their side raced into a two goal lead on the half hour mark.
Goals from Sergio Aguero and Rodri had put City into a commanding position.

But then Mbwana Samatta’s header on the stroke of half-time gave Villa a lifeline.
And City were indebted to much-maligned cup keeper Claudio Bravo, who made a sprawling fingertip save to deny Bjorn Engels late on, tipping the Dane’s header onto the post.
Joyous scenes followed the final whistle, with players photographed drenching each other in sparkling wine and scrambling to get a snap with the trophy itself.
