MANCHESTER CITY are reportedly eyeing a move for Bayern Munich star David Alaba.
The Mirror claims that Pep Guardiola is interested in reuniting with the Austrian as he looks to mount a title challenge next season.

The City boss has identified left-back as one of the key areas to improve his squad and Alaba’s current contract stand-off is said to have alerted the club to his potential availability.
The 28-year-old’s deal does not expire until next summer but Bayern will likely sell at the end of this season to ensure they get some money in.
Talks have been ongoing over a new contract at the Allianz Arena for more than a year but there has been no breakthrough.
Although still regarded as one of the best left-backs in Europe, Alaba can also play in midfield and centre-back.
It is this versatility that has made Bayern so keen for him to sign a new deal despite the emergence of Alphonso Davies.
Inter Milan, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have all been alerted to Alaba’s situation.
Yet Guardiola’s close relationship with his former charge may give him the edge in negotiations this summer.
The Spaniard is reportedly watching developments closely following concerns over the consistency of Benjamin Mendy and his deputy Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Alaba, who has been at Bayern since 2008, could still command a hefty fee and his age may put off clubs forking out for his wage demands.
He has made an incredible 380 appearances for the Bundesliga champions, winning nine league titles and the 2013 Champions League.
City meanwhile are ready to back Guardiola in the market this summer as they look to win the Premier League back from Liverpool.
The Etihad outfit are understood to be leading the race for Wolves star Adama Traore but face competition from the winger’s former side Barcelona.
