But Crystal Palace will take confidence from their last visit to this venue, when they stunned the champions to win 3-2.

Crystal Palace did not simply roll over, hitting back with Christian Benteke’s crossbar strike and Wilfried Zaha’s attempt that forced Ederson to make a crucial save in the final two minutes of normal time.
However, they were unable to prevent City running out 2-0 winners and avenging their shock defeat at the Etihad.
Since their promotion to the Premier League in 2013, Palace have won just two of their 15 meetings with City, drawing one and losing 12.
But they did come agonisingly close to defeating them at Selhurst Park in Guardiola’s record-breaking 2017/18 season.

The Eagles’ goal threat tends to rest on the shoulders of Jordan Ayew – with Roy Hodgson hyping up the Ghanaian International’s role in securing his side results.
Hodgson will also hope Cenk Tosun’s arrival can ease the burden on Ayew and Wilfried Zaha.
