DONNY VAN DE BEEK showed Manchester United what they’re missing as he netted for Holland in their 1-1 draw with Spain.
The midfield ace scored his second international goal in as many games to remind Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer he’s worth more than just a place on the bench.

Returning to Ajax’s Johan Cruyff Arena following his £40million summer switch, Van de Beek netted in the 47th minute to wipe out an 18th minute opener from Sergio Canales.
The game was unfortunately overshadowed by an early hamstring injury to Manchester City defender Nathan Ake.
Valencia’s Jose Gaya and Atalanta’s Hans Hateboer also had a sickening clash of heads during the game in Amsterdam.
But it was Van de Beek who stole the show as he operated in his favoured No10 position, pulling strings while leading the press against Spain’s possession-hungry XI.
And the pressure will now be on Solskjaer to give him more starts after a quiet beginning at the Theatre of Dreams.
Van de Beek has made ten appearances in all competitions for his new side, scoring just once.
But only five of those have come in the Premier League.
And he is yet to start a single game in England’s top flight, clocking up just 75 minutes of action.

Red Devils fans have been crying out for Van de Beek to get given a go, with Paul Pogba continuing to misfire and even talisman Bruno Fernandes looking off-form in recent weeks.
One man who believes Van de Beek must keep his chin up is international boss Frank de Boer.
Speaking before the Spain game, he urged Van de Beek to be patient and told the playmaker he will get his fix of games at some point this term.
De Boer said: “I can’t hug him right now of course. I try to give him as much confidence as possible, which I showed by starting him against Italy.

“I think he did well in the games he played, I saw him a few times at United.
“He’s doing well, but they have a great midfield with Fernandes, Pogba, Fred, Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic.
“It’s difficult, but I’m sure he will play his minutes. I can understand he wants to feature more frequently, but on the other hand, it’s always normal that you have to adapt when you go to a new league.
“Let’s hope he will get his playing time. I am happy that he’s well-rested. We can use him here.”
