SINCE joining Manchester United in January 2018, Alexis Sanchez has struggled to recreate his fine form at Arsenal and his problems have continued at Inter Milan.
Sanchez joined Antonio Conte’s side on a temporary deal last summer in a bid to get his career firing again but it hasn’t turned out the way he or both clubs were hoping.

The Chilean winger is on an enormous £400,000 per week at Old Trafford and Inter are set to pay over £4million over the year long move.
Considering the 31-year-old has only played 186 minutes this season, it has cost the Italian club a staggering £22,000 per minute.
United have had to cover the rest of Sanchez’s wages, meaning they will have spent over £5m on a player that hasn’t played for them this season.
Sanchez was part of a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to the Emirates, but it did not turn out to be a successful move for the player or United.
After enduring tough start to life at United, Sanchez found himself out of favour at Old Trafford and Inter decided to take gamble on the struggling winger.
According to the Daily Mail, Guiseppe Marotta, the chief executive of Inter, does not want to pay the £17.5m it would cost to make the deal permanent.
It appears unlikely Sanchez will be in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans when he returns in the summer and the club will be keen to get him off the bloated wage bill, which is the second biggest in Europe.
Inter do not have an option to keep Sanchez and there is no obligation to buy at the end of the loan spell.
With United’s reluctance to sign players over the age of 30, it is likely Solskjaer will turn to younger options in the summer, with the club keen on a move for Borussia Dortmund’s star man Jadon Sancho.
A deal for Sancho could cost over £100m with the English youngster in sensational form in the Bundesliga.
The 19-year-old became the first Englishman to record 15 assists in a season since Frank Lampard.
