CRYSTAL PALACE are reportedly on the brink of landing Cenk Tosun and Kyle Walker-Peters on loan for the rest of the season.
Eagles chief Roy Hodgson is looking to strengthen his squad after coming through the festive period in the top half of the table.
Cenk Tosun and Kyle Walker-Peters are both in the shop window this month
And the Athletic claims Everton striker Tosun and Tottenham right-back Walker-Peters are close to agreeing six-month Selhurst Park switches.
Palace are struggling with an injury crisis and used five academy players in their squad as they crashed out of the FA Cup to Derby.
Hodgson revealed after the game that he is in the market for at least one striker and two full-backs.
He said: “Since the summer transfer window we are looking to sign at least one, possibly two strikers, and two full-backs.
“Nothing changes. I said it a year ago, I said it in the summer, I say it again.”
Everton are keen to get Tosun’s wages off their books and the Turkish flop, 28, would give the Eagles another option up front.
Spurs ace Walker-Peters, 22, offers cover on either flank at full-back to help firm up Hodgson’s defence.
The Eagles have money to spend after selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United over the summer.
And with £80million-rated Wilfried Zaha still keen to quit, Hodgson may be looking at a summer overhaul of his squad.
