Les Parisiens took to Twitter to say goodbye to the centre-back, as they posted a clip of his highlights at the club.
Captioning the video, they said: “You marked the history of the club.
“Red and Blue for life. Forever in our hearts.”
A statement from PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi then read: “Thiago, thank you for these eight memorable years, full of lasting memories and for your involvement, your devotion and your aura.

“You will forever be one of the greatest players in history, and your legendary status here at PSG will last forever.
