BOTH Chelsea and Tottenham sent scouts to watch Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara in their 2-1 defeat to Juventus this weekend, it’s been claimed.
The 22-year-old has caught the eye of both London clubs after only joining Roma from Napoli last summer for £18.9million.

According to reports, scouts from both Chelsea and Spurs were present at the Stadio Olimpico to witness the Guinean in action.
It is said that Tottenham have had long term interest in the youngster, regularly keeping tabs on his progress in Serie A.
Playing 11 Serie A games and five Europa League games in the 2019/2020 so far, the defensive midfielder oozes talent that bellies his age, whilst his spatial awareness in and out of possession is a joy to behold.
The young talent seemed to impress regardless of his team’s result on Sunday evening, making more passes than any other Roma player, completing an impressive 95.2 per cent of his 62 attempted passes.
Roma are under no pressure to sell their creative spark and therefore those interested will have to pay premium price if they want to sign him.
A move to the Premier League might be tempting for the young midfielder but Diawara has made it clear he is only finding his feet at Roma, meaning he may be reluctant to leave so soon.
Diawara told Roma TV earlier this month: “Fonseca (the Roma manager) gave me a big helping hand.
“I arrived this summer and I had to wait a bit before starting to give consistency in my performances. In the meantime my teammates have helped me a lot.
“I feel the confidence of the coach. In fact, when I got injured he immediately sent me a text message and I’m not going to disappoint him.”
