BRITAIN’S ‘worst football team’ have banned their ‘Ultras’ – unless they are chaperoned by a parent.
Fort William FC, who play in the Scottish Highland League in the shadow of Ben Nevis, astonishingly went two full seasons without a win until finally ending their horror run this term.

But they are still struggling at the bottom of the table and their fans appear to be getting restless.
Chairman Peter Murphy took to social media to announce that ‘unacceptable behaviour’ would see the club’s ultras banned unless they comply with new rules.
He tweeted: “Following unacceptable behaviour of The Ultras supporters group over a number of games this season we have taken the decision to ban this group from home games.
“They will be able to gain entry individually if accompanied by a parent.”
It is unclear exactly what antics the hardcore Fort William mob have been accused of in the sleepy Highland town, with a population of just over 10,000.
The hapless side’s laughable winless run even inspired the BBC documentary: “The Fort, the story of Britain’s worst football team.”
Recent stormy weather has seen the Fort postpone a host of fixtures, leaving them with EIGHT games in hand over Lossiemouth, who are just three points above them.
