BARCELONA have joined Manchester United, Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain in the chase for Leicester star Ricardo Pereira after sending scouts to the King Power Stadium.
The high-flying Foxes are set to be raided this month with James Maddison, Ben Chilwell and Caglar Soyuncu also the subject of interest for a host of major European clubs.
Barcelona sent scouts to watch Leicester full-back Ricardo Pereira
But Rodgers faces a massive fight to cling on to Pereira after La Liga giants Barca entered the hunt – even sending scouts to keep tabs on him.
Pereira, 26, only joined Leicester from Porto in 2018, but has been hugely impressive at right-back.
Both United and Spurs have made their interest clear, while Ligue 1 giants PSG are determined to land the Portuguese ace.
But reports claim Pereira could be on his way to Barcelona in a three-club deal.
In the suggested move, Pereira would head to the Nou Camp, with current Barca defender Nelson Semedo heading to Old Trafford.
Whatever happens, it’s set to be a busy month at Leicester.
United are keen to land Maddison, while Chelsea and Manchester City are chasing left-back Chilwell.
Pep Guardiola’s City are also claimed to have had a £38million bid for Soyuncu knocked-back, with the Foxes demanding at least £60m.
Leicester already lost star defender Harry Maguire to Man Utd in the summer in an £85m deal.
Despite the speculation, boss Rodgers has made it clear he has no intention of selling any of his stars – and is hoping to sign Juventus star Merih Demiral.
The Foxes currently sit second in the Premier League, behind only Liverpool and ahead of reigning champions Man City.
