Arsenal joined by Juventus and Everton in Isco transfer race with attacker no longer wanted by Real Madrid

ARSENAL have reportedly joined the race to sign Isco from Real Madrid.

The 28-year-old looks set to leave the Bernabeu in January after starting just three LaLiga games this season.

According to Spanish newspaper Sport, the Gunners are on a long list of teams that are interested in Isco.

Juventus, Sevilla, AC Milan and Everton have also been linked to the Spanish international.

But Real Madrid are yet to receive any official offers for the midfielder.

He is under contract with Zinedine Zidane’s side until 2022.

But Madrid are keen to get his wages of £6million-per-season off the books.

Isco has been with the Spanish side since he joined from Malaga in 2013.

After seven years of service, his agent confirmed he is looking for a new challenge abroad.

His father and agent Paco Alarcon told radio show El Larguero: “Right now, we have no offers. But Isco wants to try another league.”

Mikel Arteta is determined to sign another midfielder for Arsenal next month.

Reports have claimed he could make a double swoop for Isco and long-term target Houssem Aouar.

The Gunners have also been linked to Slavia Prague forward Abdallah Sima – who has been compared to Thierry Henry.
