AJAX have offered £13.5million for Barcelona striker Luis Suarez, according to reports.
The former Liverpool frontman, 33, is believed to have been told by Nou Camp bosses that he is no longer wanted.

New Barca boss Ronald Koeman will oversee a massive overhaul following the side’s 8-2 Champions League humiliation by Bayern Munich.
He has been told just seven of the side – including Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann – are deemed the “untouchables” not for sale.
That has opened the door to Uruguay striker Suarez returning to Holland – even though he is desperate to remain in Spain.
El Chiringuito say Ajax have stumped up the cash in a bid to re-sign the striker who scored 111 goals in 159 games for them between 2007 and 2011.
Whether that is enough cash for someone currently on a rumoured £400,000 a week remains to be seen.
But Ajax do certainly appear to be pulling out all the stops to land Suarez – even though Juventus are also interested.
Arsenal hero Marc Overmars is spearheading the drive to land Suarez.
Uruguayan journalist Enzo Olivera claims Ajax’s sporting director Overmars has been laying the groundwork for a stunning return.

Olivera told sports show Polideportivo via Football Inside: “Overmars wants Suarez and has opened the doors of the Johan Cruyff Arena for him.”
Suarez has one season left on his contract but has a clause which automatically triggers a year extension if he plays 60 per cent of Barca’s games next campaign.
David Beckham’s Inter Miami side have also been linked with a move for the four-time LaLiga winner.
