The surprise conversation was filmed by ITV and features in Fury’s new documentary Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King.

Fury opens up the conversation by saying: “What’s happening AJ?”
To which Joshua responds: “Training, keeping my life simple. What’s been happening? Everything good? Family good?”
Fury answers: “I’m all good brother.”
The conversation soon turns into business talk as Joshua asks: “When are we fighting? It sounds like 2021.”
But Fury joked: “When are we fighting? Behave yourself! I only called you up to say hello.”
Fury won the unified heavyweight titles in 2015 after famously dethroning Wladimir Klitschko in Germany.
But after a battle with depression and substance abuse, the WBA, IBF and WBO belts were all lost outside the ring with Joshua since claiming the trio of straps.
AJ and the Gypsy King – who once shared a sparring session in 2010 – have traded verbal blows in the past and both pointed the finger at each other for why the Battle of Britain has failed to take place.
Eddie Hearn claimed in the past Fury has rejected a 60/40 deal in favour of Joshua to challenge for the unified belts.
But should the 6ft 9in traveller beat WBC champion Deontay Wilder in their Las Vegas rematch on Saturday, the promoter is prepared to offer a 50/50 split between Fury and AJ.
Hearn even claimed the two could make almost triple the money should they take the domestic rivalry 4,000 miles away to Saudi Arabia, the scene where Joshua won back his belts from Andy Ruiz Jr in December.
But the Watford ace argued the fight with Fury should take place in Britain, after his rival touted Las Vegas as the perfect host for the all-English showdown.
Joshua said: “I think it has to be in the UK, to be fair, but I would never let a location get in the way of a mega fight.
“The reason I always said I wanted Fury to win that fight is so we could put our fight on here but if he wants to do it in America then it makes sense for Wilder to win and then we do that fight there.
“It makes more sense to have a Brit versus an American, in America, than a Brit versus a Brit over there.
“If Fury wants to fight me in Vegas then we would have to talk about that. For me, personally, it makes more sense to have that in London or Manchester.”
