His promoter, Warren, sent fans wild as he revealed that negotiations for the all-British showdown have started.

He shared a picture of himself alongside two of Joyce’s promoter with his 215,300 followers on Twitter.

The caption read: “Delighted to confirm talks are underway for a huge domestic heavyweight clash in 2020.

“Juggernaut vs Dynamite. Let’s make it happen.”

Warren wants Dubois, 22, to take on the 34-year-old for the European heavyweight title in the spring.

Failing that, Dubois will come up against heavyweight veterans Derek Chisora or Dillian Whyte.

Dubois – nicknamed Dynamite – boasts a record of 14-0 with 13 knockouts.

Joyce – known in the ring as Juggernaut – also boasts an unbeaten record of 10-0 with nine knockouts.

But the 22-year-old has vowed to knockout the former commonwealth heavyweight title holder if he underestimates him.

He said: “I didn’t actually speak to Joe Joyce after the fight, he sent his little mouthpiece over to speak to Frank.

“Joe was in the Team GB camp when I went up there, he was just about to go to the Olympics and I was a young kid trying to find my feet and see what’s what.

“I was 17 or 18 years old but I was holding my own and giving him more than enough trouble.

“Hopefully Joe underestimates me based on those sparring sessions and I can bang him up.”
