TYSON FURY will be branded a “liar” if he fails to deliver on his promise to KO Deontay Wilder.
The Gypsy King has vowed to knock out his American rival in the second round of this weekend’s heavyweight showdown in Las Vegas.

British star Fury, 31, is famed for defensive skills and a boxing brain but Wilder — the most devastating puncher on the planet — has urged him to stand by his word on Saturday night.
The 6ft 7in Alabama ace said: “He needs to back up those words. If he doesn’t he is going to look like a liar. I don’t believe anything he says but that’s up to him. He said it.
“I’m a man of my word and when I say things I mean it.
“So I’ll hold him to his word. It’s going to be up to him to display what he wants. There are a lot of things he could say. Fighters do it all the time.
“They can be friendly, say ‘How you doing?’, ‘How was your day?’, shake hands and be friendly on social media then in the fight you want blood.
“All those things take place, especially in a big fight like this, but you have to break out all the secrets and all the tools to get the victory.
“People will do anything to win just as they will do anything for money.”
Wilder is vying to make the 11th successful defence of the WBC title he won in 2015 at the very same arena.
That would see him overtake his idol Muhammad Ali for most consecutive defences but the 34-year-old still feels he deserves more recognition.
He said: “Do I feel under-appreciated here? Of course. The US is supposed to be so diverse. They say we’re one nation under God with liberty and justice, it’s not true.
“Even some Americans can be lured into supporting a foreigner rather than their own. That’s how America is built.
“Boxing here is nowhere near first — we’re four, five, six, maybe the seventh most popular sport.
“We all have to start somewhere. It was tough just getting people coming to fights and realising, ‘Damn, we have a heavyweight champion of the world’.
“People say I’m going to be the next Muhammad Ali, I don’t want to be the next no one. I am Deontay Wilder.”
