CONOR BENN produced a powerful and energetic display to outclass Sebastian Formella.
The Destroyer appeared on the verge of a KO at times but the German’s chin managed to hold firm.
However there was no doubt about the outcome as Benn recorded a 100-91, 99-91, 99-92 win.

The two are coming together now in the clinch and warned by the ref about clashing heads.
Formella keeps on the pressure but Benn looks strong and has an answer to it.

Again Benn comes out firing chasing down Formella landing hooks and body shots.
Benn now getting back to his jab and straight shots.
Formella comes back well but still Benn looks comfortable and in charge.

Another solid round for Benn. Beautiful defence rolling and slipping landing body shots and the odd uppercut or hook on the inside.
Formella is yet to look wobbled but has been on the defensive throughout.

Benn comes out really sharp, lands a left hook to the body and lets his hand go afterwards.
The Brit looks comfortable on the inside letting combinations go.

Benn dips down really low and rolls the punches – risky stuff but easy on the eye.
Uppercut lands for Benn, he’s landed that with the left hook in a combination a few times now.
Formella looks slightly out of ideas.

Counter right hand lands for Benn early on. Good movement and reactions.
Good combination to the body lands for Benn. Again his jab has been the difference in this round.
Formella lands a counter right hand but he’s not landed enough here in another round to Benn.

Right hand lands over the top for Benn.
A nice jab leaves Formella with a bloodied nose.
Benn lands another right hand down the middle to close out the round. He looks comfortable in the opening stages.

Big left hook lands for Benn but Formella takes it well.

Lartey has been able to walk around for a few steps and exits the ring on his own terms.

The defeated visitor is lifted to a stool in the ring and given oxygen.
Wardley unleashed two howitzers and Lartey’s teak-tough skull could not take the power.
Medics are still tending to Lartey but he is sat upright.

The Son of the Eagle needs medical attention in the ring after Wardley ruffled his feathers.
Lartey was walking forward with a high guard and suddenly left himself open to two huge shots.
Wardley pinged right and left hands into his head and the Ghana man collapsed on the spot.
The referee didn’t even make it to 10 before waving it off.
WARDLEY WINS IN TWO!
Wardley evades a couple of looping left hooks and scores with a few jabs.
Lartey throws a double jab and Wardley is silky as he rolls out of danger.
Boom, Wardley thunders in two huge shots and Lartey is poleaxed and out!

Wardley starts well but Lartey clips him with a hook.
Lartey keeps walking forward with a high guard so Wardley is only hitting gloves.
Wardley gets pinned in a corner and the ref tells them to box their way out of it.
Lartey keeps marching on, Wardley tries to pick him off. The bell ends a tasty opener.
