AMIR KHAN has admitted he doesn’t want his son to follow him into boxing.
Khan has earned millions from the sport since he decided to turn professional after the 2004 Greece Olympics, where he won a silver medal.

But his career has had it’s fair share of devastating downs.
From being brutally KO’d by Breidis Prescott and Canelo Alvarez to a concentious points loss to Lamont Peterson, Khan has been forced to bounce back many times.
And of course he is a two-weight world champ.
The Bolton boxer and wife Faryal Makhdoom gave birth to their first son, Zaviyar, in February, and also have two daughters in Lamaisah and Alayna.
And speaking to OK Magazine, Khan hopes his boy follows a different career path and hopes that he has “taken the punches” for the family.
The 33-year-old said: “As a father, I like to be there for all my kids. I’m going to be very supportive and whatever they want to do I’ll be on their side.
“I’ve been asked by a lot of people would you ever let him go in the boxing ring and fight. Look,
“I’ve done that for my kids, I’ve taken the punches for them and I would never like to see them punched in the face to be honest with you.
“But, if he wants to box – if Zaviyar says: ‘Look Daddy, I want to go to the boxing gym,’ I cannot stop him I will let him go there and let him pick what he wants to do himself.
“It’s a very tough sport to be in but like I said as a father I like to be there for all my kids. I’m going to be very supportive and whatever they want to do I’ll be on their side.”
Khan married his wife Faryal Makhdoom back in 2013, having been introduced to her by a mutual friend.
Last week SunSport reported how Khan has become the latest sportsman to help out in the fight against coronavirus by donating a four-storey building to the NHS.
With the NHS struggling with bed shortages amid the coronavirus pandemic, the 33-year-old boxer has allowed his 66,000 square foot building to be used by those affected.
Two-weight world champion Khan has revealed that the building was set to be turned into a wedding hall and retail outlet.
He took to social media to announce his incredible gesture, where he posed in front of the building that was to now go into NHS hands.
