WEST HAM have deleted a tweet aimed at Jose Mourinho ahead of the Hammers’ clash against Tottenham on the weekend.
The Special One – who was appointed Spurs boss this morning following the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino – will be in the dugout for the London derby on Saturday.

And the Hammers will be hoping their tweet doesn’t come back to haunt them after they attempted to troll the 56-year-old.
The East End outfit posted a video on social media featuring clips and audio from various West Ham wins over Mourinho during his time with Chelsea and Manchester United.
Captioning the post, the Twitter admin said: “See you Saturday, Jose.”
But after less than two hours, the tweet had been deleted, with fans joking that the post is sure to backfire.
One commented: “Have we really gone and deleted the Mourinho tweet before I got a chance to see it? Needed a good laugh this morning knowing it come back to bite us after we lose 4-0 on Saturday.”
Another said: “West Ham really deleted that tweet about Mourinho? FFS football is about banter, if it backfired who the f*** cares.”
A third added: “Seriously, who the f*** is (in) charge of our social media? Playing like we are and then you tweet this? This WILL backfire massively.”
West Ham sit two places behind Spurs in the table, but can leapfrog their rivals with a win in Saturday’s early kick off.
Mourinho – who is believed to be earning £15million-a-year at Spurs – lost on his last visit to the London Stadium.
The ex-Real Madrid gaffer could bring back the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Christian Eriksen and Eric Dier to the starting XI with Tottenham looking to win their first league game since September 28.
And with January around the corner, Mourinho is sure to strengthen his side.
