CRISTIANO RONALDO was in no mood to parade his runner-up medal after losing the Italian Super Cup to Lazio.
A dignitary handed Ronaldo his medal, but the 34-year-old immediately removed it in disgust.

The Portuguese is not one for celebrating second best – especially having won 29 trophies in his illustrious career with club and country.
But despite possessing CR7’s experience, Juventus flopped against Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio.
The match was the latest major sporting event to take place in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
With nearby Diriyah having recently staged the Anthony Joshua – Andy Ruiz Jr rematch, as well as the inaugural Diriyah Tennis Cup – the locals were excited to see arguably the world’s greatest footballer.
But Maurizio Sarri’s Juve flopped to their second 3-1 loss to Lazio of December.
Luis Alberto gave the Romans the lead after 16 minutes.
The crowd did at least get to see a piece of Ronaldo magic on the stroke of half time, when his shot from range was parried into the path of Paulo Dybala – who gratefully prodded home the equaliser.
But Senad Lulic expertly volleyed Lazio back into the lead in the second half.
And when Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off in stoppage time, Danilo Cataldi curled home the resulting free-kick.
The final whistle was greeted by wild scenes of jubilation from the Lazio players and staff, who very much treated the competition as a major trophy.
While Ronaldo, on the other hand, couldn’t hide his disdain when picking up his runner-up medal.
Back in Italy, Juventus are currently behind Serie A leaders Inter Milan on goal difference after 17 matches – as the Turin side face a real battle to retain the domestic title they have won for the last eight years.
