JOSE MOURINHO is ready to do battle with former club Manchester United to sign highly-rated Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare, according to reports in France.
The France Under-21 international is a wanted man across Europe after impressing in the middle of the park in Ligue 1.

And, according to L’Equipe, Lille are ready to cash in with former Swansea and Bayern Munich flop Renato Sanches having a renaissance season.
Soumare, who is under contract until summer 2023, could command a transfer fee of around £50MILLION.
Napoli, Real Madrid and Valencia have all been linked with the 6ft 2in midfielder, who has played 23 matches this season.
It was initially thought that Lille would push for a loan back to the club if he was moved on in the winter transfer window.
But the latest reports indicate they could well sell him outright.
Mourinho already flexed his muscles in Lille, poaching two members of Christophe Galtier’s backroom team – No2 Joao Sacramento and goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos.
Galtier sarcastically said: “Everyone has their own way of doing things.
“But it’s really classy. Really classy to act like that.”
