We hear what it’s like having lunch at David Beckham’s house.
There is an eye-opening tale about the England star who spent three weeks watching porn and the one whose own mum told him he had played “s***e”.
And we learn about some of the bizarre meals sampled while following England and it was not always the most appetizing of menus.
Guests – Charlie Wyett and Paul Jiggins
Pre-season trips, domestic travels and the big European away days are the focus in this episode.
We hear how Jose Mourinho showed off his goalkeeping skills against Shaun quickly followed by a chance meeting with a boxing heavyweight champion, and this was just one day on a Chelsea pre-season tour.
Charlie lives some childhood dreams whilst playing Fifa against Thierry Henry and would you recognise Zinedine Zidane if he got in a lift with you?
Well, Paul didn’t when he saw the superstar in just a towel.
Guests – Dave Kidd and Andrew Dillon
Football is filled with some of the biggest and funniest personalities across the globe.
Everyone on the team has their own story about Gazza, with more mischievous behaviour you’ve never heard.
Andrew Dillon always knew he could get a story out of Harry Redknapp including the time he turned up at the wrong funeral.
Shaun will forever be scared of Patrick Vieira after a through telling off from the Arsenal legend and there’s a look back at the funniest mascots down the years.
Guests – Dave Kidd and Andrew Dillon
Dave and Andrew came back for another episode to talk about the headline makers, strikers.
They discuss what makes a great forward along with some of their most memorable encounters with the games’ top goalscorers.
Dave had his greatest interview when meeting his hero at a service station, only to find out he’s now a cockroach exterminator.
Shaun speaks about his extraordinary visit to the then Ballon D’or winner Andriy Shevchenko’s house and Andy tells us how he gave Peter Crouch one of his earliest nicknames.
Reshmin also tells us about her awkward meeting with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Ian Wright, Diego Costa and Jamie Vardy all get a mention and we find out where it all began for our reporters on the ground as they tell us about the first player they interviewed.
Guests – Martin Lipton and Neil Ashton
The moments that changed football are the big talking points in this episode.
When you think iconic; World Cups, comebacks, goals and emotions all come to mind and that’s exactly what the team bring you.
Martin tells his story from Istanbul in 2005, and Neil saw first hand how the WAGS of 2006 caused a stir.
Shaun can’t get over Maradona’s ‘Hand of God’ and he tells how the man himself still doesn’t get on with the English press.
Finally, the team look back to the summer of 2018 and reminisce about that winning penalty shoot-out against Colombia.
Guests – Martin Lipton and Neil Ashton
What is the greatest goal ever scored?
There are some thunderbolts in the list but it’s not always the screamers that are our journalists’ favourites.
For Shaun, you had to be there for it to be special but Neil wants the goal to make you fall in love with the player, so any Gareth Bale goal isn’t in his list.
But they all agree that context is important so expect plenty of Cup Final goals including that Zidane volley.
There wouldn’t be a list of greatest goals without a mention to Messi and Ronaldo.
